Swagbucks

I just signed up for swagbucks.com it seems like a very straightforward and well put together website. I can already see how it can get aggravating quickly on some of the offers they have. Only time will tell and I’m pretty optimistic that it will work out
I signed up a little later then I was hoping to. I think I signed up around 8:30 pm and when I left second work at around 11 pm I had only acquired 22 swag bucks. They refer to their point system as swagbucks. For every 100 swag bucks equals one dollar. You can do various things to earn these swagbucks including: watch movies, filling out surveys, referring friends, shopping, etc. I mainly focused on verifying my email address, referred a friend (who didn’t confirm yet), I also completed one survey, and I watched a few videos and that’s when the site did glitch a little on me. I filled out a few surveys but I received no swag bucks for them and some of the videos said they were restricted and not allowed on the domain. I’m assuming some of the video sites have blocked swagbucks from publishing their videos so if you can’t play them you can’t earn which could cause a problem because the way it works with the videos is you have to watch a playlist which may have anywhere from 12 to 30 video clips and if one of those clips is restricted you don’t get your swag bucks and you may not find that out until you watch the last video
Something else I realized tonight was for each video playlist that you watch you can get anywhere from 1 to 5 swagbucks so doing the math on how long the videos last versus how many swagbucks you get you can average about five swag bucks per hour and you need 100 to make a dollar so in order to make 25 swag bucks you get the watch roughly 500 hours worth of video which is a problem. If I have it running in the background it would roughly take me doing it about three hours a day for 27 days to make $25 but again what did I really do to make that money? Nothing I just let the video run in the background!
I think the better way to make money quicker would be to fill out the online surveys along with watching the videos in the background. Another way they allow you to make swag bucks is through purchasing items with their affiliates; such is purchasing through Amazon or Walmart or things like that I do regularly. I purchase items for work through Amazon so I’m going to see if office supplies are under one of their categories. Also I know that we personally purchased a lot of groceries off at Walmart so again I’m going to see if that is a product that is allowed to be purchased to earn swagbucks.
All in all what I’ll end up defaulting too is letting the videos run while I’m at my second job. It will probably only be about 3 to 4 hours a day 5-6 nights a week worst case at least it will be an additional $25 or so per month. The $25 is offered in the form of a gift card for either Amazon or PayPal. I’ll probably end up ordering at a PayPal gift card because then I could use that money to fund my other ventures.
With anything you have to give it time to find out if it’ll work so I’ll probably try to religiously login and make sure the videos are playing in the background for at least 60 days I figure give it a good two months if I don’t earn $50 in at least two months then maybe it won’t be worth my time but who knows maybe I’ll fill out some surveys and be pleasantly surprised!
