IRONBORN 30 Day Challenge
At the beginning of June, I tipped the scale at 202lbs! and considering I’m only 5’ 7” that was not good… Not good at all! So, recently I started to really watch what I eat and be more active. It as worked out very well. Watching what I ate and getting my bike cleaned up has really helped and I am now down to 182lbs which is better but according to everything I have read online, I should really be between 150-155lbs. (I’m not sure if that will ever really happen.)
One thing I have noticed is I do feel like I have a bit more energy than before, so I am going to try one of these 30-day challenges. I have been reading a lot of workouts and I think I have found one that should be challenging and hopefully, the benefits will show. I would really like more defined arms and I still need to lose more weight, so I have settled on a challenge I have found on a https://darebee.com this is really a great website because they have a lot of different work out routines and they have the illustrations on how to do each exercise and they make it fun by having different themes.
I have decided to start with the IRONBORN Challenge I mean why not right? It’s a 30-day challenge, it uses dumbbells, and it sounds like I’ll be ready for Game of Thrones in 30 days! What else could you ask for?
I’ll see how this goes from what I have read online it really takes about 90 days before you start to see significant change, but I’m optimistic it will work. The toughest part I can think before starting is that it is 30 days with no rest days so that could be challenging but it is designed to change and work different groups each day so as long as I don’t repeat the same workout I should be fine. If you would like to try this workout you can print it out here: https://darebee.com/pdf/programs/ironborn.pdf. Along with doing this program, I’m also going to be working my cardio as well which will include biking & swimming (Maybe a little jogging) every other day.
They do offer a meal plan that they recommend accompany this which is found here: https://darebee.com/mealplans/mass-effect.html but I think that my current diet should be okay and if I do start the meal plan I’ll just add it on later.
Well wish me luck and stay tuned for updates on progress.
